Godwin's Law
Friend: Saw this on the University of Houston Facebook post: "UH could become a tobacco-free campus beginning this fall. How do you feel about that?" One of the comments on that post: "Nothing worse than seeing cigarettes all over the ground. Great move."
Me: Oh.
Friend: Nothing worse. Nothing at all. On the Awfulness Scale, not even three-year-old orphans diagnosed with leukemia can hold a candle to cigarette butt litter.
Me: People and perspective: Quickly lost from each other.
Friend: I thought about going with "I've heard that the Holocaust was pretty bad," but that would give them the Godwin's Law out.
